Program Description:
At the Almeida Lab, we are dedicated to cutting-edge research in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine, which lie at the forefront of interdisciplinary studies. Our research focuses on the following areas:
- Stem Cells
- Biomaterials
- Nanomaterials
- Organic Chemistry
We welcome prospective graduate students from diverse backgrounds, including but not limited to Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Biology, or Chemistry. Moreover, our students have the opportunity to participate in one of the following Graduate Programs:
- Chemical Engineering Ph.D.
- Materials Science and Engineering Ph.D.
- Interdisciplinary Bioscience and Biotechnology Ph.D.
Admission Process:
Admission to the Almeida Lab is a two-step process. First, interested graduate students need to apply to Clarkson University’s PhD programs. Only students successfully admitted to these programs will be considered for potential openings within our research group.
